Pic of Your Racecar!

My old race bike. 1045 cc, 38 mm Lectrons, slider clutch. Ran 9.40s before you could go that fast off the showroom floor.
And my 93 Z28 that I sold before I finished it. I was building it for ODR, but I couldn’t afford to keep up. 25.3 chassis, AJE strut front end. 315 radials. Had a bbc for it I bought from a guy. Made 1200 hp with a single turbo. Sold the car to a father and son who finished and ran 4.30s 1/8 mile with a single turbo scbc on 275s.IMG_1331.jpegIMG_0916.jpeg

Dang nice bike. A shame the Camaro had to go.

Thanks! That was a labor of love. So much custom work and parts and lots of money to go that slow…
Story time. We were at an all bike race at Muncie, right before the US Nationals. Dave Schultz was there testing. I built my bike to be a small tire scaled down version of his. He was my hero. His rig was parked in the staging lanes. When I rolled past to make a run, he saw it and jumped out of the trailer to check it out. He thought it was a cool bike. I was so proud. It would be like if you had a cool Chevy and Lee Shepard liked it.

Ok, which guy are you? Glasses?

Yes I’m in the glasses. To my left is my brother and to my far right is my buddy Tony who is building the Pro Mod bike that I posted. ( technically not a PMB, just the chassis). He looks exactly the same except his hair is gray. I’m fat and bald now.
Hey, it happens to the best of us. I had a good run is what I always tell people. 😂

Hey we need build threads! Id love to see the progress and hear about all the problems as you work on it. 😂
Seriously start a build thread and let us know the details. Pictures are easy here. 😉

Yeah, I dig those cars.
I wonder if they're the best and easiest way to build sleepers.
