Played with the hammer and dolly and bit yesterday to work on the drivers door dent. The worst part is this was a perfect door that got blown over outside and dented up. Dummy.

Finished up the hood. Overall 6 rust holes. Not bad. Everything will clean up during body work.

Found some time for the truck. This hood probably isn't worth saving but it's got a cool hinge system so I’m gonna patch up some holes and call it good. I'm not metal worker but it will be fine with a little body filler.

Haven't got a lot done, ashtray and glovebox restored and installed, sorry no pics. Put the wheels and tires on it I'm gonna use. Need to paint the wheels can't decide between silver or black. Got the front end on and looking right. Need to figure out the engine wiring but my buddy is dealing...

Not a bunch of picture worthy stuff happening but I've got the doors on with new weatherstrip, painted the insides of the fenders, finished up the truck wiring and started on the engine wiring. I got the power steering hooked up with a custom hose. I was able to use all the 07 radiator, hoses...

Well the seat from the 65 failed. Too tall and too far forward so I stole the seat from the bucket truck. Made a foam repair then decided to take the rubber mat from the bucket truck too. Starting to look good in there.

Lots of tedious wiring going on. Nothing to really show but I did modify the dash and installed my gauges. The speedometer is for looks. I just didn't want an empty hole. The transmission is not mechanical, so I'll have to get a GPS speedometer, I will eventually go to the black Autometer Gages...

Doors are jammed, door frames body worked. Gotta fit the door and make sure everything is right then they will be painted.

Well today was back to work. I only work 1/2 day on Fridays so I got on the truck when I got home. Hangers came in so the exhaust is finished, new gas tank is in, steering column and brake pedal, booster and master cylinder installed. Brakes work, truck steers. Big shout out to Low and Slow for...

Not much to see. Finished the rattletrap, painted some pieces, blocked the fresh air intake on the pass side. Wire wheeled a bunch of rust off the brake pedal brackets and pedal. Painted all that and the steering column. More on that later.
