Adding a new avatar picture.

It's probably just me. I'm trying to put a picture in for my avatar. I went to "account details". And then "avatar". At that point it asks me to "select file." I guess this means I must select a picture from the files on my laptop. OK. However, it doesn't seem to want to let me copy any of the ones I have. Can I use another method or just get my head out of my *ss and figure this out myself? Take care. Tom Worthington

I'm not sure but on other forums I've had that issue when the picture was too big so I had to find a smaller image for it to post.

I think you’re right cuz the 1st pic I chose wouldn’t load so I tried another smaller one & it loaded just fine.

Oddly enough if you screenshot the picture you want to use it makes it less mb and usable

I went to the old place, right click and saved it so I could use it here, then it is the right size

Thank you for posting that particular screen grab. There is really only one alternative when you get to that screen, correct? And that is to click on "Choose File". The instruction above that one says "Drag this image..." What image? When I use "Choose File", it takes me to the images currently stored on my laptop. And then it will not allow me to load any of those. Thanks again and take care. Tom Worthington

I did mine from my phone and I still use imgbb. Was easy.
