You cannot pull it off the filter. You have to slide it off.

I wish they made these Jomar filters in black instead of this ugly yellow BS that doesn’t match a single thing on my multi colored car.

I thought about spraying black, but then if it starts flaking it will probably look worse. Fug it.

I need to paint the exhaust shields on my car.
They're plain steel and they rust even in this climate.
Luckily I've been more interested in saving stuff so when I took them off I soaked them in Evaporust.

I'm glad I did, I found out those little rascals are over 100 bucks from the vendors!

I'm going to use Rustoleum high-heat but that has to be heated to cure.

Spend 30 seconds with some scotchbright wipe it off and spray. If it decides to peel just put a racing sticker on it.
